Important information

Warranty conditions

This summary should be read with the full Glideline warranty terms applying to the original order.

Read full terms & conditions
What is normally covered?

Manufacturing defects within the relevant cover period that affect the supplied frame, sealed glass unit or moving component and are confirmed by Glideline following assessment.

What is not normally covered?

Damage arising from incorrect installation, building movement, misuse, impact, lack of maintenance, blocked drainage, incompatible cleaning products, unauthorised alterations, fair wear and tear, or conditions outside the product specification.

Installation and water ingress

Water ingress is not covered by this product warranty. Glideline supplies products to trade and does not install them. Installation interfaces, perimeter sealing, membranes, drainage, thresholds and the surrounding construction remain the responsibility of the installer and project team.

Glass appearance and breakage

Glass is assessed against applicable visual quality standards. Scratches, impact damage, thermal stress, spontaneous breakage and imperfections within accepted tolerances are not treated as sealed-unit failure unless the full warranty terms expressly state otherwise.

What happens when a claim is accepted?

Glideline will decide the appropriate remedy under the full warranty terms. This may be repair, replacement of the affected supplied component or another reasonable resolution. Labour, access equipment, removal, refitting, finishes and consequential costs are not included unless agreed in writing.
