What does slimline mean for a sliding door?
Slimline describes aluminium sliding doors engineered to reduce the visible frame and central interlock while retaining the strength, weather performance and smooth operation needed for real installations. It is not one fixed specification: panel size, glass weight, threshold, drainage, opening arrangement and exposure all influence the right system.
Glideline manufactures several options for different openings. GS20 is a versatile 20mm system for residential and trade projects, while GS15 and Aspect take the visible interlock down to 15mm. Larger or more exposed openings may benefit from GS25 or another higher-capacity specification.
